We are an Independent NHS Community Pharmacy serving the people of Shelf and the surrounding area. We are long established and aim to provide a caring , responsive service.

Welcome to our website.

You may have noticed that we have undertaken major improvements and renovation. We have relocated our Consultation Room to the front of the pharmacy to make it more accessible. We have also incorporated a new door and frontage to replace the old rotted one. We have built wider steps-please ask if you need help with wheelchair/pram access. We've also replaced flooring , ceiling and electrical installation. There is new signage. It's been quite a task whilst remaining fully open but the improvements and necessary maintenance are well worth it.

We have a dedicated team here at Shelf Pharmacy who are working tirelessly. We will always try to help you. There are national problems in getting hold of some regular stock items although we do our best to obtain through our various stockists and manufacturers. When we can't source your product we will let you know and with your agreement will obtain alternatives.

Whilst we offer a comprehensive free of charge Delivery Service this is not funded through the NHS and we ask that-if you are able-you collect your prescriptions from the pharmacy. If we usually text you to inform your prescription is ready for collection then please wait for the text (unless you need it straight away). Your wait shouldn't be long at the pharmacy. We have a bell on the right side of the pharmacy if you would prefer to wait outside. We are open 9 to 6 during the week and 9 to 1 on Saturday. Please let us know either by telephone, answerphone message or email if you need any further help or advice.
